Challenge
Conventional cleaners only work on the surface. The deep-seated dirt, algae, lichens and roots remain in the stone pores. High-pressure cleaning with a dirt blaster destroys the surface and only "cuts off" the head of the vegetation. This gives the roots more light and more water. The surface of the stone is gradually destroyed and roughened by the dirt grinder. This increases the surface area and, thanks to the roughened structure, provides even more support for new growth.
Excalibur Lichen, Moss & Algae Remover kills the superficial growth when applied and then penetrates the dirt into the pores and fills them with active ingredients. When they dry off, they crystallize and can then no longer be washed out by the rain. They fill up the pores with a depot of active ingredients, which helps youreceive long-term protection against new growth for up to 5 years.
The dead material is removed automatically by environmental influences. A completely clean area is given after 1-14 months, depending on the condition and environmental influences (rain-wind-snow).
If desired, the dead dirt can also be rinsed off after 5-8 days with a high-pressure cleaner - but this reduces the long-term protection. In this case we recommend a subsequent impregnation with our stone impregnation.
